Hot rods, custom cars and car enthusiasts from all over the country gathered in Austin this weekend for the 13th annual Lonestar Rod and Kustom Round Up event.
Local car club "The Kontinentals" hosted the two-day event, which took place April 4 and 5 at the Travis County Expo Center.
"Eighty cars were at the first show back at House Park Stadium and as this thing has continued to grow, almost exponentially.... now we have in excess of 1,500 cars," round up cofounder Steve Wertheimer said.
The event is open to 1963 and earlier traditionally-styled American hot rods, custom cars and bikes. The event also featured a live music festival, a car part and collectibles swap meet, vendors and artists.
