The Stair Car From 'Arrested Development' Is In Town To Say 'Annyong' This Saturday

This is joyous news.

Austinites get their own chance to be a hop-on Saturday when the Bluth family stair car rolls into town.

In promotion of Arrested Development’s upcoming season, the vehicle that has carted around the fictitious family from the O.C. for five seasons will be at three locations in Central Austin on Saturday. So, if you’ve got the afternoon free, you can say hello before the Netflix show makes a new start May 29.

The promotional tour also includes a meetup of (possibly dozens) of “Never Nudes” that hasn't yet been scheduled. One can't help but wonder if that’s an illusion or if it’ll actually materialize.

Andrew Weber is a general assignment reporter for KUT, focusing on criminal justice, policing, courts and homelessness in Austin and Travis County. Got a tip? You can email him at aweber@kut.org. Follow him on Twitter @England_Weber.
