Manor High School students and staff have been evacuated to Manor Middle School as a safety precaution. This morning an unauthorized adult was seen in front of the school with a suspicious device. This person never entered the campus. Both Manor High School and Manor Middle School are in lockdown. At this time no one will be allowed near the campuses. Manor ISD is working with local law enforcement to ensure the safety of our students and staff. At this time no one is in danger. Students will not be released until law enforcement has given proper clearance. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.

Manor High School was evacuated this morning, following reports of a suspicious device. The Austin Police Department's bomb squad has been dispatched to the scene to investigate.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office says Manor police found the device in a car, although it's uncertain whether the vehicle was parked on campus.

The Manor Police Department notes that students have been moved to Manor Middle School (12900 Gregg Manor Road). Parents are advised to stay away from the high school, as roads around the area have been blocked off.

We will have more details on the situation as it progresses.
