ATXplained: Birds of Austin

Swan: https://www.flickr.com/photos/bengchye_loo/ Guinea Fowl: https://www.flickr.com/photos/7846004@N05/ Grackle: https://www.flickr.com/photos/36093342@N07/

Our next ATXplained voting round is here. This time, it's all about birds.

So far, we've collected nearly 150 questions about everything from Austin's allergens, its streets and highways, its iconic places and events, and even some simply answered questions, like what exactly our programming schedule is — for future reference, you can find it right here

We've tackled the questions of Austin's changing demographics, the synchronization of its traffic lights and the origin of the "Fair Sailing Tall Boy" memorial on Lamar Boulevard. You can check out those stories herehere and here.

Surprisingly, we've also received a fair amount of questions about Austin's fauna — specifically, Austin birds.

With that in mind, this round of ATXplained is an all-bird round. Grackles, guinea fowl or swans - which one to do you want us to investigate?

Vote below and be sure to share on Facebook and Twitter.
