Chris Eudaily

Chris started at Texas Public Radio in May 2012 just after graduating from Texas State University in San Marcos where he studied journalism.

While in school, he worked for two years at the campus radio station, KTSW 89.9 FM, where he started as a reporter and then co-hosted and produced a feature news show. Chris has won several awards for his reporting and producing while in school, including awards from the Houston Press Club, Society of Professional Journalists, College Broadcasters Inc., and the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association.

Chris' background prior to school was in the music industry where he managed a local band, performed live as a DJ, and published a local art/music magazine in San Marcos.

Chris loves watching all types of sports and loves to play golf and fĂștbol, but not in a league because he is afraid of getting hurt. While he no longer performs music, he still enjoys collecting vinyl records and spends his free time with his wife and daughter.

As the NBA Finals shift to Miami for game 6 and possibly game 7, the extended series means that money generated by the games will continue to boost the league, broadcast carriers and the host cities.

Based on numbers from the last two NBA Finals in host cities Dallas, Oklahoma City and Miami, the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce estimated an economic impact of about $4 million per game.
