Leadership Circle

 


Members of this special group will receive invitations to receptions and backstage meetings featuring KUT, NPR and PRI personalities. You’ll also receive advance notification of special events and activities with preferential seating provided, plus special behind-the-scenes tours of KUT Radio.

In the past, Leadership Circle members have enjoyed meeting Michele Norris, Frank Deford, Scott Simon, Peter Sagal and Carl Kasell. Leadership Circle members are the often the first donors to receive information about KUT.  For gifts of $1,200 or more, anyone can join the KUT Leadership Circle.

Leadership Circle $1,200 – $2,499

  • Invitations to exclusive events where you can meet NPR personalities, KUT’s on-air hosts and reporters, and fellow Leadership Circle members
  • Advance email notice to KUT events
  • Ability to purchase tickets in advance to limited seating KUT fundraising events; past events include A Prairie Home Companion and Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me! performances
  • Recognition in KUT’s Annual Report (optional)
  • Opportunity to use contribution as on-air challenge to encourage other gifts.

Broadcaster Circle $2,500 – $4,999

  • Leadership Circle Plus
  • Invitation to a quarterly KUT Leadership Circle Luncheon featuring KUT’s on-air hosts, reporters/producers and timely guest speakers
  • Opportunity to sit in on one live musical performance of your choice from Studio 1A (Limited to 4 persons, 1 performance a year)
  • Receive four new CDs a year selected and reviewed by KUT’s own Jeff McCord; music editor and critic for Texas Monthly magazine, and KUT’s music director and host of KUT’s Left of the Dial

Producer Circle – $5,000 – $9,999

  • Broadcaster Circle Plus
  • VIP seating at KUT special events including KUT Live performances in ACL studios; seating for these events includes table seating (where available) for four seats
  • An intimate group luncheon with a KUT on-air host or reporter/producer
  • Personalized tour of KUT broadcast studios (At donor request)

Director Circle – $10,000 – $24,999

  • Produce Circle Plus
  • Invitation to an annual dinner with KUT’s General Manager, Advisory Board and a distinguished guest; past speakers have included CEOs of NPR and PRI, the BBC’s Roz Atkins and Madeline Morris, NPR’s Scott Simon and Jay Allison creator of This I Believe

Vanguard Circle – $25,000 and above

  • Director Circle Plus
  • Opportunity to designate a portion of support to specific projects tailored to the donors’ interests and station’s priorities; Vanguard Circle members will receive personalized bi-annual briefings on progress of gifts and on-air recognition (At donor’s request)
