KUTX 98.9 named "Best Radio Station" in the Austin Chronicle "Best of" Music Awards

AUSTIN—March 12, 2014—KUTX 98.9 has been voted “Best Radio Station” in the Austin Chronicle’s 32nd annual music poll.

This is the first time the station has earned this distinction since KUTX launched last year. Sister station KUT 90.5, Austin's NPR station, landed at No. 3 in the poll.

Austin, TEXAS — Oct. 10, 2013 — KUT 90.5 presents the world premiere of a new radio documentary, The Long Game: Texas’ Ongoing Battle for the Direction of the Classroom, on Sunday, Oct. 13, and again on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7pm.
