Final update on this story (Saturday 10:00 a.m.): The Austin Police Department and  the Texas Department of Public Safety say this Amber Alert has been canceled. They say two-year-old Cheyenne Johnson is now safe and the suspect, Jesse Thomas, is in custody after a standoff with authorities in northwest Harris County.

UPDATE (10:00 p.m.):  An Amber Alert has now been issued for Cheyenne Johnson. Anyone who may have information about this abduction is asked to call the Austin Police Department at (512) 297-0825 or 9-1-1.

Austin police are asking for help from the public in locating a child who was last seen at 1:54 Friday afternoon on the 1800 block of Anita Drive in South Austin.

Two-year-old Cheyenne Johnson is about two-and-a-half feet tall, weighs 25 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.  She was wearing a navy blue shirt with flowers on it and navy blue shorts. She was last seen with 33-year-old Jesse Thomas, 6'01", about 220 pounds.

Update: An Amber Alert for a 15-year-old Blanco girl has been canceled. Blanco Police say Sianna Gholson was found safe.

Gholson was believed abducted Tuesday morning from Blanco High School.

But, again, she’s now been found and is safe.

Original Story (April 1, 5:53 p.m.): Authorities issued an Amber Alert Tuesday for a 15-year-old girl believed abducted from Blanco High School in Blanco, Texas at about 7:45 Tuesday morning.

Police across the state are looking for a missing five year-old boy and the woman who they believe took him. She was last seen in North Richland Hills – near Fort Worth.

Five-year-old Jagger Curry is white. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, grey-and-white striped pajama pants and cowboy boots.

Police believe he’s with 30-year-old Jennifer Lynne Echeverria. She’s also white with brown hair and brown eyes. She’s about 5-foot-9 and weighs around 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt and jeans. She has a tattoo of angel wings with eyes on the inside of both arms. The back of her head is shaved.

Update: The Amber Alert for Natalie Jasso has been canceled. Information about her condition was not immediately available.

Original Story: (6:03 a.m.): Law enforcement agencies across the state are looking for a two week-old baby girl who they believe was abducted by a male family member.

There’s an active Amber Alert for Natalie Jasso. The infant was last seen last night in Robstown, Texas – near Corpus Christi.

Natalie is Hispanic and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white beanie and a white onesie with pink flowers on it.

Update: Authorities say Jaelyn Johnson has been found safe and is back in the custody of her guardians.

Original Story (Aug. 14, 5:57 a.m.): Police in Copperas Cove, TX – just west of Killeen – have issued an Amber Alert for a missing toddler.

Jaelyn Gucciana Johnson is almost 3 years-old. She’s black and has black hair and brown eyes. She weighs about 40 pounds.

Update: The Amber Alert has been discontinued. The Department of Public Safety says Calvin Lincecum voluntarily came in to the Terrell Police Department with his three children last night.

Update (2/16/12): As of this afternoon, Austin Police have confirmed Sarate has been found and is safe, according to the Statesman

Original Post (2/14/12): A search is on for an Austin teenager whom authorities believe may be in trouble.

Eighteen-year old Jourdan Sarate has been missing from her South Austin home since Friday according to the Austin American-Statesman. Sarate’s mother told the paper her daughter has a bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia, and may have been without medication since the time of her disappearance.

A call for help has also been posted to social sharing site Reddit, where it has since spread across the web.

The Statesman notes Sarate became disturbed Friday after reading about a fatal auto accident late last year that claimed one of her classmates.

Anyone who sees Sarate is encouraged to contact Austin Police.

The Texas Forest Service says the Bastrop County Complex fire is now 60 percent contained.

Bastrop Officials Revise Missing Persons List

While firefighters continue to battle the Bastrop County Complex fire, officials are trying to make sure everyone is accounted for. Bastrop County officials say as of last night eight people were still unaccounted for.  They’re asking these people to check in with them:

UPDATE: Authorities in Galveston County initially said the man Andrea Fox was believed to be with was stationed at Fort Carlson, Colorado. They now say that James Dean Martin is stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado. Galveston County and DPS officials say the Amber Alert is still active, as of 11:10 a.m.

The body of an 81-year-old woman who went missing in South Austin last night has been found in the Greenbelt, according to the Austin Police Department.  KUT News reported earlier today that APD were trying to find Leona Wagoner Owen.
