Submit Your Music

MUSIC SUBMISSIONS TO KUT
Want to submit your music to KUT for airplay consideration? Thanks for thinking of us!
Here’s how to do it:
If you¹re wondering whether your music fits our station, listen to KUT, and also, take a look at our weekly chart. You¹ll get an idea of the diverse kinds of artists that get the most airplay here.
Physical CDs are preferred. If you want to send us music electronically, please send us a link to a WAV file of your recordings so we can preview and download them. You may email your download links to music@kut.org.
Unsolicited email music file attachments will not be accepted.
KUT does accept unsolicited CDs. In general, KUT does not play singles or unreleased demo recordings. Your CD should be available commercially that is, either downloadable or for sale on the internet and/or in stores.
Whenever possible, submitted CDs should be final (artwork) copies of full albums or EPs. Advance CDs in flat sleeves are much more likely to be misplaced or lost. It¹s also helpful to include a ³one sheet²: a single piece of paper that includes a short bio, contact information, a song list highlighting your strongest tracks, as well as (very important) any songs that have lyrics that the FCC wouldn¹t like us to play on the radio.
Also important: If you are inquiring about a live appearance or are interested in coverage on other KUT programs as well as airplay, please send us two copies of your CD.
Please understand that we receive an enormous amount of music, and we do not have the resources to provide individual feedback on every CD we receive. We are unable to return materials sent to us.
Music should be sent to:

Austin, TX 78712-1061
Any additional questions should be e-mailed to music@kut.org.
