In Austin, the precipitation is expected to begin around 10 a.m. and continue through the afternoon.

The winter weather advisory is posted for 3 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday.

Austin ISD said at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday that it would operate on a normal schedule Monday.

Manor ISD said it would run on its regular late-start Monday schedule.

Other districts, including Eanes ISD, said they would wait until morning to make the call about whether to delay or cancel school. They were asking parents to monitor their website and social media early Monday morning.

Capital Metro said it would detour some of its bus routes to avoid elevated roads and overpasses, including along routes 2, 275, 331 and 350.
