“Texas Standard” Named Best News Magazine at 2018 New York Festivals® International Radio Awards

AUSTIN, Texas – June 20, 2018 – “Texas Standard,” the national daily news show of Texas, has been recognized as among the world’s best radio programs by the New York Festivals® Radio Program and Promotion Awards ™.

The hour-long weekday show earned a silver award in the Best News Magazine category.

Every year, the New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards recognize the best radio programs from stations, networks and independent producers around the world. The 2018 winners were announced at a gala in New York City Monday night.

This is the fourth New York Festivals recognition for “Texas Standard.”
