Update at 3:24 pm: The Silver Alert has been canceled. Austin police say Francisco Ortiz has been found safe and unharmed.
Earlier: Austin Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing man.
Police are looking for Francisco Ortiz. He's 71 years old, about 5' 4", 160 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. Ortiz was last seen in the 800 block of Emerald Wood Drive in South Austin about 12:00 noon on Tuesday. He was wearing a turquoise wind breaker, dark blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
Detectives don't suspect foul play, but they are concerned because Mr. Ortiz has some medical issues. If you see him, call 9-1-1-
