You can already drive over some of the new constructed ramps of the I-35/Ben White interchange, but the job has yet to be completed. The Texas Department of Transportation says crews will be pouring concrete on two parts of the spans late Saturday night. The area should be opened by 10 a.m. Sunday.

Here are the closures, courtesy of TxDOT:

On Interstate-35 The northbound access road will be reduced to one lane between Teri Rd and Ben White Fwy from 10:00 PM Saturday until 2:30 Sunday. Reduced to one northbound lane between Stassney Ln and Ben White Fwy from 1:30 AM until 5:30 AM Sunday.  The northbound access road will be closed at St Elmo Rd from 2:30 AM until noon Sunday. Traffic will be detoured down St Elmo to Woodward St, then to the westbound Ben White access to the northbound I-35 access.  Reduced to one southbound lane between Oltorf St and Ben White Fwy from 4:30 AM until noon Sunday. On Ben White Fwy The eastbound access road will be reduced to one lane between Congress Ave and I-35 and closed at I-35 from 3:00 AM until noon Sunday. Traffic will be detoured down the southbound interstate access road to the Stassney Ln and return to Ben White on the northbound I-35 access road.

The $26 million project is scheduled to be completed in November.
