The George W. Bush Presidential Library has its dedication Thursday at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
Former first lady Laura Bush says one of the most emotionally moving museum exhibits focuses on the 9/11 attacks.
“It’s important for people to know about it and remember September 11,” she said. “George walked a family through recently and realized that the children who were on the tour with him weren’t alive on September 11. So they had no direct memory of it like all of us do. And it’s important I think to remind people of it.”
Tomorrow’s dedication in Dallas will be attended by President Barack Obama and all four living ex-presidents.
The general public will have to wait until May 1st for a chance to get inside the country's 13th Presidential Library. But thanks to photographer Filipa Rodrigues, you can take a virtual tour of the Bush Center today:
