KUTX names assistant program director

AUSTIN, Texas – June 8, 2015 – KUTX 98.9, The Austin Music Experience, has named its first assistant program director who will focus on marketing, outreach and fundraising efforts for the station.

Jacquie Fuller has joined the KUTX programming team where she will oversee the station’s presence at live shows and cultural events around Austin, as well as collaborate with the fundraising and marketing departments across the station. Listeners will hear her on 98.9 as a fill-in host.

Fuller joins KUTX from Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) where she worked in fundraising and audience strategy, and hosted a weekly retro music show, “Teenage Kicks,” for MPR’s The Current.

“Jacquie brings nearly 15 years of fundraising and marketing experience – not to mention a deep love for Texas music – to KUTX at a time when we’re poised for tremendous growth,” said Matt Reilly, KUTX program director. “With the head of a fundraiser and the heart of a programmer, she brings a unique mix of talent to the team.”

A Texas native, Moody-Fuller was raised in San Antonio. She has a bachelor’s degree in art history from Texas State University and a master’s degree in creative writing from New Mexico State University.
