Flash Flood, Tornado Watch for Travis County

Prepare for extreme weather beginning this evening and lasting through Tuesday morning's rush hour commute.

The National Weather Service has issued aflash flood and tornadowatch for Travis County. The NWS forecast for tonight states "Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Low around 60 ... Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%." Total rainfall is expected to range from two to five inches.
