Austin Music MinuteKinky Plays Tonight at Stubb’s Indoor VenueOne of the best things about Sueño de la Maquina by Kinky is how it leaps all over the map in terms of styles. The five-piece band from Monterrey, Mexico brings it all together well, from funky dance grooves to synth-pop melodies to some insane electro-rock. Each of the ten tracks has a way of defying expectation, but one would expect no less from a band that's been churning out massive rhythms for ten years.
