On Tuesday, we brought you a big, whopping, nearly-three-hour 'cast that kept to a theme (Halloween, our host's favoriteist of favorite themes). Having a through line that was not only consistent but timely felt weird to us, so we're going the other way today, with three pieces that have nothing in common whatsoever.
First off, it's a new show called
Fresh Talk. Or at least we think it's new. This is its first time on O'Dark, so it's new to us (and you), and that's all that really matters. This one even has a local connection, with an Austin guest in the hot seat.
Then we're off to Baltimore to hear from our favorite retired Belgian physicist, Charles Spira. The nicest guy in public radio will bring you some of his favorite French music in this new episode of
Bonjour Chanson.

Holy mackerel! This is a whopper of a podcast, folks. In honor of our host's favorite holiday, we're bringing you the biggest podcast in O'Dark history. Instead of the typical, bite-size highlight version of the big show, we're just going to go ahead and bring you the whole darn thing (almost)!
As you may or may not know, we're only allowed to podcast some of the material we use on O'Dark, because some producers have politely asked that we not make their material available for download.
