Listen, folks. We know it's been a week and a half since Halloween, and we know that in the past month or so we've dedicated about 37 podcasts to Halloween and/or spooky content. But here's the deal: our esteemed host, Hawk Mendenhall, has got a monkey on his back, and that monkey is named Halloween Radio Pieces. He loves ghost stories and haunted houses and stuff more than any grown man should, and he puts pretty much every scary thing he can find on the big show. So we've got what is (I hope and believe) our last batch of Halloween stuff to cast on the big pod today.
And, hey, it's not like it's bad stuff. It's really good stuff, even if it is coming about a week and a half late. We'll start things off with

Well, here it is, election day already. Seems like we just started talking about the 2012 presidential election in 2009 or so, and then, bam, suddenly, after a few years, the big day is here!
We here at O'Dark aren't part of KUT's fine newsroom, and we're not the observant or that bright, so we're only vaguely aware of what's going on. I know there's that one guy who's already president and he wants to be president again, or to keep presidenting, I guess. Then there's some other guy who's all like, "No! I wanna do it! Let me!" Maybe I should go over to Ben Philpott's cubicle and ask him what's going on. That guy usually knows about politics and stuff.
