We've been informed by Wikipedia that today marks the 22nd anniversary of a UFO sighting in Trans-en-Provence, France. A witness to the event said "The device had the shape of two saucers, one inverted on top of the other. It must have measured about 1.5 meters in height," except he probably said that in French, which must have made it sound much more romantic.
What are doing to commemorate this historical moment? Nothing, really, except sitting in our cubicle and imagining the hilarious movie that should have been made by now about aliens visiting France in the early '80s. We'd really like to see that movie.
