The name Kyle Thomas might ring a bell when you take a look at who he's played with: Most notably the metal band Witch, alongside J. Mascis; covering a slightly mellower side of things with avant-folk outfit Feathers; and conjuring some insanity with trio Happy Birthday. That's a hell of a resume, perfectly varied and showing off Thomas' versatility. That would also be where King Tuff is coming from. King Tuff is Thomas' solo project and Sub Pop debut.
