O’Dark 30

O’Dark 30 is KUT’s weekly exploration of the world of independent radio production. Produced by Double Secret Senior Executive Producers Mike Lee and David Alvarez, and hosted and written by Hawk Mendenhall, O’Dark 30 is not only three hours of radio goodness each week but also a twice weekly highlight podcast you can find right below us. Right now!! The show airs Sunday nights at 10pm on KUT and you can also find our most recent efforts, and believe us when we say they are efforts, just below the words occupying your attention currently.

Our weekly three hour audio safari features a little bit of everything from some of public radio’s best independent producers-both well-known and not so well known-along with material from KUT’s audio archives  and our own producers. O’Dark 30 regularly includes work from independent producers Jake Warga, Nate DiMeo, Jay Allison, Michael Carroll, Rob Rosenthal, Roman Mars, Joe Richman and many, many more.
