Texans will mourn the loss of Lady Bird Johnson this weekend.

The former first lady died at her Austin home on Thursday afternoon. A public visitation will take place at the LBJ Library and Museum. Visitation begins Friday at 1:15 in the afternoon and continues until Saturday morning at 11.

At 9 Sunday morning her ceremonial cortege leaves Austin to bring Mrs. Johnson’s body to be buried in Stonewall, Texas. The cortege begins at the State Capitol and will head south on Congress before it turns west on Cesar Chavez.
