Austin Chronicle music critic Darcie Stevens has the scoop on the first full-length CD by this acclaimed Austin quintet.
Austin’s Voxtrot steadily built a loyal national fan base with a series of strong 3-5 song EPs clearly drawing on some of the best classic Britpop of the last quarter century. That slo-mo release strategy created great anticipation for their first complete album, a self-titled release. Here’s the good news: it was worth the wait.
