The music of four-time Grammy nominated Beninese singer/songwriter Angelique Kidjo is a reflection of her diverse influences from Afro-pop and Congolese rumba to jazz, gospel, and Latin grooves. This year’s Djin Djin features guests Carlos Santana, Joss Stone, Peter Gabriel, Branford Marsalis, and Ziggy Marley, among others. Kidjo joined Jay Trachtenberg live in Studio 1A before her show at Antone’s on April 24.
