Thousands honored – in their own way – the legacy of Ann Richards. Artists, politicians, working men and women, they all had something to say…
A memorial service for Texas Governor Ann Richards was held Monday September 18th at the Frank Erwin Center. That was one of Ann Richards’ favorite places in Austin – where countless times she saw UT’s Lady Longhorns in action. KUT’s Joy Diaz reports thousands came to honor the life of a woman who changed the face of Texas politics and gave the word “politician” a whole different meaning.
