Her family and friends paid their respects first. Then, Texans from all over touched the casket of a woman who was larger than life.
For hours people waited patiently in line for a chance to honor Richards at the State Capitol. Many brought in their kids and told them about Richards’ desire to open more opportunities for women and minorities.
