One of the best bets at the ACL Music Fest this weekend is a band born in Denton, Texas which has been getting rave reviews for years…though mainstream sucess has remained elusive.
Centro-Matic’s literate, smart music fills that strange gap between indie-rock and alt-country. “I think their fortunes will change”, says Joe Gross, music critic for the Austin-American Statesman. “All they need…is that one break”. The ACL Music Festival just might be it.
