On Thursday October 16, 2008, the 15th Austin Film Festival and Conference opens with Oliver Stone’s movie “W.”, the heavily-hyped movie about President George W. Bush.
A Hollywood style premiere is set for the Paramount Theater and director Stone is expected to be there. There are another 189 films to see during the eight day event. Kelly Williams is the festival’s film program director. It’s his job to choose among thousands of films which movies will screen. He says that process started in January.
