Fort Worth native Steven Bruton has one of the most impressive resumes in the music industry. Never heard of him? Here’s the backstory.
Steven Bruton has played guitar for Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt, Christine McVie, and many more. He’s produced Alejandro Escovedo among others, and didn’t step out into the spotlight solo until he’d spent several decades as a professional musician. Now he’s the mastermind of an historic celebration of Austin music set for May 19th at Auditorium Shores: The Road to Austin Concert. Texas Music Matters’ David Brown has this profile.
