StoryboardAustin, What We're WatchingWhat We’re Watching: The Esme Barrera Fan Club bandThe Esme Barrera Fan Club band was created in less than five days, and performed an original arrangement of “She’s A Rainbow” by the Rolling Stones at the Austin Memorial Service for Esme Barrera, on January 15, 2012, at Fiesta Gardens. The 37-member band is composed entirely of volunteers from Girls Rock Austin, where Esme also volunteered. Esme is near and dear to everyone in the girls rock camp community, both here in Austin and beyond. She was a gifted instructor, a remarkable band coach, a boundless positivity spreader, and an all-around awesome promoter of the phrase “You rock!”... |
