For many of us, the holiday season is all about tradition, and Damian Gillen's Christmas tradition involves packing a minivan full of costumes and props and hitting the road. For almost a decade, Gillen has spent a month a year taking his one-man production of Dickens' A Christmas Carol across Texas (and occasionally beyond). This year, as he has for the past nine years, Gillen will perform his show Bah Humbug! thirty times in thirty days, in venues that that include dinner theaters, schools, bars, churches, outdoor festivals, and prisons.
