Environmental Protection Agency over her request that the agency devote attention to environmental problems in South Africa that were allegedly caused by an U.S. multinational mining company, Coleman-Adebayo led an effort to clean up the regulatory agency. Her campaign led to the first civil rights and whistleblower protection legislation passed in the 21
