We've only got two pieces on the 'cast today, but they're both pretty good and one of them is an hour long, so that still adds up to plenty of show. So stop complaining already.
First off, it's a new edition of KUT's own
Views and Brews, from O'Dark alum Rebecca McInroy. She'll be discussing depression and creativity with artist/writer/musician Thor Harris, who's a super nice dude and who is also named Thor, which was cool even before
The Avengers came out last year.
Then it's a weird and interesting little tidbit of radio goodness called
Night Radio. We know you'll dig it, 'cause you're weird and interesting, too, or you wouldn't be here....

People are writing to me and saying, "Hey, Mike, I'm super bored at the office today and I need to kill few hours while pretending to work. Can you help me out?" And I always reply with a stern lecture about work ethics and the value of a job well done. So while I want yo to listen to this show and I hope you do it as soon as possible, I'm hoping you do it on your own time and that you don't get fired for slacking off on the job.
There's tons of great stuff in the episode -- more from the Life Stories series, a new installment of Spike Gillespie's Delta State, something called Survival of an Island, and more! Dig it!... » read more

A happy Tuesday to you all. We're gonna cast a nice little pod your way today, as you might expect. I mean, why else would you even be here, reading this poorly-constructed paragraph? No reason at all for either of us to waste our time if there's no pod being cast, right? Right.
So, what's on...

Hi folks. How's it going? We're trying to get over our holiday hangover around here, as we search for any leftover egg nog in the fridge, finish off our Christmas cookies, and play with our new toys. We're pretty wiped out from the weekend, we've got some got some fudge to eat and some video games...

Happy Holidays, internet friends! We've got a little podcast for you today, as we usually do on Tuesdays. We'll start things off with

And since it's the holiday...

Hello, party people! And also non-party people. We don't mean to discriminate against those of you who don't party. In fact, we're not really sure why we brought the whole thing up. We actually never use the word "party" as a verb, and we're not really sure why we did just now. Trying to sound...

A hale and hearty good morning to you all! Or a good afternoon or evening, I suppose. This is on the internet and you can look at it any time you want to (it could be the middle of the night for you right now, and that's perfectly okay). Happy mid-afternoon, or late morning, or dusk to you...

I recently learned from my wife, who knows these kinds of things, that there's actually a word for people who are afraid of Friday the 13th (the day itself, not the movie series). And that word is paraskevidekatriaphobic. So to all you paraskevidekatriaphobics out there, hang tough. It's only one...

It's the last podcast of the year. What a bittersweet time.
And if you've been getting sick of all the Christmas stuff, you'll be happy to hear that there's no holiday content in the podcast at all. Well, maybe a little Halloween, but that's pretty usual for O'Dark, and if ghost stories bug you,...

It's the day before Christmas Eve, and all of us here at O'Dark Central are full of Christmas cheer, if you get my meaning. Last night, we were visited by three spirits who showed us the error of our ways or something, and now we're a changed show! So we're breaking all the rules on today's...

It's the Friday podcast! You might recall that, on Tuesday, we brought you a little something that had won a big award at the Third Coast Audio Festival. Did you think that was the only award-winning piece you'd get from us this week? If so, you were way wrong, dummy! We bring out award-winning...
