Earl Poole Ball is internationally known as "Mr. Honky-Tonk Piano". From over 20 years of featured appearances on television and in concert as a member of the Johnny Cash Show to his crowd-pleasing performances at major fairs, venues and rodeos throughout the United States and Canada, Ball has delighted audiences with his energetically rockin' piano and vocal interpretations of classic Honky-tonk, Country Blues, Delta Rhythm Boogie, Gulf Coast Boogie-woogie, Rockabilly and hard driving Country Rock. "Mr. Honky-tonk Piano" stirs the pot with an amazing blend of showmanship, mirth, and musical magic. Now an Austin icon, Ball is lending his considerable talents to help out the Parkside Community School with a show at Shoal Crossing on Saturday March 3rd. Get a sneak preview with his visit to Studio 1A for a session with Jay Trachtenberg. Enjoy!...

As with previous Shearwater material these tracks are anchored marvelously by Meiburg's hauntingly melodic vocals. Shearwater will be playing a show Sunday March 4th at Antones. Enjoy their performance in Studio 1a RIGHT HERE! ... » read more
