Singer-songwriter
Grace Woodroofe has enjoyed a near meteoric rise to notoriety in the music world. From her home in Perth, Australia, she recorded two demos for an Australian radio competition, which earned the attention of several music industry higher-ups in Los Angeles. Eventually, she found herself recording with producer Ben Harper and his band Relentless7. It's no wonder that Woodroofe has been able to ascend this quickly, as a vocalist she has an amazing, warm and sometimes mournful voice that works beautifully with her equally impressive songwriting abilities.

Austin based band Cotton Mather isn't the most well known band, but their album Kontiki's influence is deep and widespread. The album was an enormous hit in the UK, and Noel Gallagher has claimed it to be one of his favorites. It can be said that Kontiki has influenced a great many of the Austin bands that are active today. The album was recently re-released in a slightly more deluxe flavor than before, and Cotton Mather is reuniting to perform the album throughout at this year's SXSW. Cotton Mather's set from the Four Seasons is RIGHT HERE for your listening pleasure.
