New Jersey band Real Estate emerged from a cloud of buzz in 2009 to debut their first album, which received positive reviews across the board. Started by 3 guys who have known each other since they were teenagers, the band plays a sunny, melodic rock - a sound that you might expect when you know how long they've known each other and where they come from. Since 2009, the band has toured nationally several times, in support of acts like Girls, Deerhunter and Kurt Vile, and released their second album, Days. On Wednesday night, Real Estate is playing a show at the Mohawk, and earlier that afternoon, they stopped by Studio 1a to play live on KUT. Listen HERE!... » read more
