Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis @ KUT 6/12/12

Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis are both accomplished singer/songwriters each having several songs recorded by big names in Country music, most notably the Dixie Chicks. But long before their songs started appearing on Country radio both had established themselves as respected performers in the Austin. Kelly Willis has been playing in the Austin scene since she was a teenager and even released a few albums with MCA records in the 90s. But it was her self produced What I Deserve album released by Rykodisc in 1999 that exposed Kelly Willis to a bigger audience. Bruce Robison seems to have songwriting in his bones. Two of his siblings, Charlie Robison and Robyn Ludwick, are successful performers in their own right. Since Bruce and Kelly joined forces a few years ago Austin has seen some wonderful performances.
