Growing up in the little west Texas town Dumas, Carrasco was exposed to plenty of Mexican pop on trips down to borderland beaches -- an influence that's hard to miss in his music. He's been inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame (2002) and has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the The Texas Music Academy (2012), in addition to plenty of critical acclaim over the years.... |
