Austin cover band The Eggmen isn't just a Beatles tribute band. They're the Beatles Tribute Band (at least as far as Austin is concerned). The band's been going 20 years strong, winning "Best Cover Band" in the Austin Chronicle Music Poll. In a typical show, The Eggmen play three entirely different sets. They start out with the "Suit Set" and play the Beatles' earlier, more poppy songs. Then they'll transition into the "Psychedelic Set," playing the Beatles' later work. Typically each show closes out with a "British Invasion" set, a bunch of songs by British invasion artists that aren't the Beatles.
