She, Sir and Letting Up Despite Great Faults Play Thursday Night at Holy Mountain

On this edition of the Austin Music Minute, I have the pleasure of featuring two bands who happen to be longtime faves of mine - and an excellent pairing, indeed. We have Austin-based quartet She, Sir and from Los Angeles, by way of Austin, Letting Up Despite Great Faults. She, Sir is one of the first bands I was introduced to in town, thanks to a mutual friend, drummer Christopher McGuire, who had spent a brief stint playing with them. Founding members Russell Karloff and Matt Grusha had just moved to Austin from Iowa, and were writing music and performing as a duo.
