One of the best things about Sueño de la Maquina by Kinky is how it leaps all over the map in terms of styles. The five-piece band from Monterrey, Mexico brings it all together well, from funky dance grooves to synth-pop melodies to some insane electro-rock. Each of the ten tracks has a way of defying expectation, but one would expect no less from a band that's been churning out massive rhythms for ten years.
