The Daily Buzz at SXSW
Now in its third year, the Daily Buzz podcast brings the latest news and hot topics from festivals to listeners across the country featuring in-depth conversations with leading international filmmakers and talent. For those that can’t make it to noteworthy festivals, the Film Society is helping bring them a piece of the action!
“With this daily program, we’re hoping to bring the best of festivals to audiences around the world by featuring in-depth conversations about the films and filmmakers that moviegoers, film critics and industry types are talking about,” said Hernandez in a statement.
Eugene Hernandez, host of the Film Society’s Daily Buzz, is excited to return to SXSW for the second year to offer an insider’s look at films, music and interactive guests in Austin during this extravaganza. In each episode, he’ll be talking to journalists with the latest news and buzz, filmmakers and festival veterans such as John Sayles as well as music insiders like Jason Bentley from Music Becomes Eclectic on KCRW.
The Daily Buzz will be broadcast nightly at 9 PM on KUT 90.5 FM, and the audio will be available here at KUT.org (archived below, nightly), at filmlinc.com and on iTunes.
