Arts Eclectic: A Steady Rain
2013 marks the tenth anniversary of A Chick and a Dude Productions. To kick off the new season, the chick (Melissa Livingston-Weaver) and the dude (Shannon Weaver) have chosen to stage the Austin premiere of the Broadway hit A Steady Rain. This two-actor play by Keith Huff centers around two Chicago police officers, who are partners as well as lifelong friends. The story unfolds as both characters (Denny, played by Kenneth Wayne Bradley and Joey, played by Tom Green) relate their slightly different takes on a recent harrowing event.
