AE: Texas Photo Roundup 2013
Now in its second year, Texas Photo Roundup isn’t technically a festival yet, but it does seem to be heading in that direction. What began in 2012 as a one-day event is now a three-day celebration of the art and business of photography. Photographers will be traveling to Austin from around the country to take part in workshops, panel discussions, lectures, portfolio reviews and more.
Presented by The Austin Center for Photography and the American Society of Media Photographers, the Roundup is geared toward emerging photographers and those who are trying to turn a hobby into a profession.
Among other events, there will be an Icons of Photography lecture by Austin-based photographer Dan Winters on Friday, Februray 8.
