Hey guys, did you know that our host Hawk Mendenhall has recently returned home from Africa? Of course you did, because that’s all he’s talked about since returning home from Africa. The dude brags about going to Africa like he invented Africa or something. Just be thankful that you only have to spend three hours a week with him — we here on the O’Dark staff are with that guy forty hours a week. Yeesh.
So when Hawk realized that there was a Jake Warga piece lying around called Home From Africa, well, it didn’t take long for him to slap that thing into the big show. Luckily, it’s a pretty good piece (like all of Jake’s stuff) and we’re happy to include it on today’s podcast.
And there’s more! We’ll dip back into the How Sound honeypot to bring you an insiders look at a piece called “Alleged Illegal Searches.” The original piece was pretty fascinating stuff, so when Rob Rosenthal cracks it open and tells you how it was made, you’re in for some quality infotainment.
