There’s a debate over the billions of dollars in tax breaks that promote the use of alternative, renewable energy.
In Texas, wind energy is the big one, but it’s not the only renewable source of power, as Dave Fehling with StateImpact Texas found in one picturesque part of the state.
We have power plants on landfills that closed 20 years ago and they’re still generating methane. We’re still generating electricity from those.
