KUT’s Texas Music Matters is partnering with the national Localore initiative and Zeega to create the Austin Music Map: a yearlong effort to go beyond the well-traveled streets of the Austin music scene in search of the hidden places where music is being made. This week, the Austin Music Map explores Body Rock ATX, a monthly gathering hosted by DJ Chorizo Funk and MC duo Riders Against the Storm. As reporter Thomas Fawcett explains, it’s a great dance party. But it’s a lot more than that too.
