Happy Friday, O’Darkers! It seems like we’ve been hearing an awful lot about this F1 thing lately, and it must be some kind of big deal because they’ve shut down half of downtown to make way for it. But we here at O’Dark Central are savvy shoppers, and we’ve learned never to jump at the first version of these newfangled doodads; we’re going to do the smart thing and wait until they get all the bugs worked out for the F2, which will probably be out in like six months anyway.
And what else is going on with us? Oh, nothing much. Just cranking out podcasts like it’s our job (which it literally is). Today we’ve got another installment of HowSound, the show that takes you behind the scenes of the world’s most fascinating and glittery job, public radio production. On this episode, Rob Rosenthal will deconstruct a radio classic from back in the day, “A Trip to the Dentist.”
Then it’s off to mysterious Oracle, Arizona, for a visit with the one and only (because really, how many do you need) Mikie Show. What’s our pal Mikie getting into this week? Tune in and find out!
And while any right-thinking podcast assembler would stop there, we’re going to keep going with a brand new (to us) show called SoCal Byte, and their “Apocalypse Then” episode. Enjoy!
