Eat Drink Local Week 2012: Urban Farm Bicycle Tour

Kick-off event (free) at the downtown SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown with proclamation by the Mayor of the City of Austin, a 24-carrot salute and other special activities.

Then embark on the official tour to discover some of Austin’s local food-producing gems on a family-friendly bicycle tour, including stops at Austin’s urban farms, school gardens, community gardens and more—featuring farm tours, a wonderful array of chef-prepared snacks, local food products, chef demos and a chance to win fabulous prizes!

Ticket Prices:
Children under 12 free.
$35 for pre-registration (offered till Nov. 30)
$40 for day of tickets

The complete tour is approximately 20 miles. Distances will vary depending on your starting point and your chosen stops. You may choose to skip stops or turn back to your start at any time.
